REFLECTION ON DAY 6

DAY 6 (24/11/2014) - LP 6


Reached the school on Time. Then went for morning discipline duty. After prayer, free period were collected and assigned the. Duties. 

My period was second one....So I prepared for the lesson.The topic was THREE QUANTITIES on the chapter RATIO. All the students themselves explained the relations among the different parts of a  divided line  as given. Only 3 or 4  students shown a confusion for it and I  helped them to clear the doubt. I could complete my lesson as I planned.

Thereafter I got the fourth period too  in my class.So I took one  1 more  lesson template , problems related to ratio of three quantities. As all the students were clear about the problems on.  ratio of two quantities, the classroom was easy to teach.

Activity cards, activity charts were used to make the class very interactive and activity oriented. Managed the class discipline very well.

It was first day of the Intership Phase-II Practice Teaching at St. Goretti's HSS, Nalanchira, as a part of the Fourth semester B.Ed programme.


I got 8th standard for teaching. I prepared the lesson plans according to the portions given to me. The first chapter given to me is RATIO.


First I introduced what is meant by Ratio ,  its uses and some examples related to the ratio. The sub unit taken was PART RELATIONS. Here a line is drawn , divided into some equal parts and relations between different parts are found. Then a general concept of ratio was derived.

I'm happy that I could manage the class well. All the students were cooperative and well disciplined. I could complete the lesson as I planned.
