REFLECTION ON DAY 11

Day 11(01/12/2018) - LP 11 & LP 12

Today, there was a special time table as it was an extra compensating working day. I had class only in the afternoon session.

There was one and half hours for me. So I take  the class on a smooth pace. A small revision on the topic of previous class and the chapter Ratio  were  conducted. Students respond very well.

Problems related to the area of parallelogram was the portion of today's class. Activity charts used for the steps and construction.


Ensured maximum student participation. Two lesson plans  completed. Very happy that all students understood the problems clearly. Managed the class effectively. Cleared all their doubts. I'm fully satisfied with the class. 

REFLECTION ON DAY 10

Day 10(30/11/2018) -LP 10

Reached the school on time. After the morning prayer collected the list of free periods and distributed to all.


I had class on second period. Started the new chapter AREA OF QUADRILATERALS.
The concept of quadrilaterals, their types and properties discussed at the beginning.


First topic was  SAME AREA. Explained the way of converting a rectangle into a parallelogram, using models. Students understood both they have same area. It helped them to construct a parallelogram of given sides  and  area.


Models helped to construct parallelogram very easily. Ensured Maximum student participation.  Class management was good and I could complete the lesson as I planned. I'm fully satisfied with the class. 

REFLECTION ON DAY 9

Day 9(27/11/2018) -LP 9

Reached the school on time. Went for morning discipline duty. After prayer, the list of free periods collected and distributed the duties.

Second and third period were substitutions. I had class on fourth period. The topic was problems on the ratio of THREE QUANTITIES. My optional teacher Deepthi ma'am and Ancy teacher came for the observation. So I was a little bit tensed.

Activity charts and cards used as teaching aids.  One of the problems was confusing and I explained it to the students. Then they understood it . Activity charts helped to clear each and every steps.


I got very good responses from my students. Endured the complete student participation.  Lesson was completed as I planned .

 After first observation, teacher gave me suggestions to improve myself.

Reached the school on time. After  morning prayer, collected the list of free periods and assigned the duties to all. I had class on second period. So I prepared for it. The topic was problems on THREE QUANTITIES of the chapter RATIO. Students solved the problems themselves.

One of the problems on the ratio of investments was solved using algebra. So I explained one more method to  to solve RATIO problems, which they already learned in previous class . So they understood it very easily.

Maximum student participation ensured in the class. Activity charts, activity cards helped the class be  interactive. Class management was easy to handle. Lesson template was completed as I planned

Today I got extra periods on two divisions to teach the the chapter Ratio, as their teachers were absent.

Very happy that all the duties and substitutions were completed effectively. 

REFLECTION ON DAY 6

DAY 6 (24/11/2014) - LP 6

Reached the school on Time. Then went for morning discipline duty. After prayer, free period were collected and assigned the. Duties. 

My period was second one....So I prepared for the lesson.The topic was THREE QUANTITIES on the chapter RATIO. All the students themselves explained the relations among the different parts of a  divided line  as given. Only 3 or 4  students shown a confusion for it and I  helped them to clear the doubt. I could complete my lesson as I planned.

Thereafter I got the fourth period too  in my class.So I took one  1 more  lesson template , problems related to ratio of three quantities. As all the students were clear about the problems on.  ratio of two quantities, the classroom was easy to teach.

Activity cards, activity charts were used to make the class very interactive and activity oriented. Managed the class discipline very well.
